Book your Tanker Surf Charter

Full-day Tanker Surf Charters are $750 plus tax.

Price includes water, ice, fuel (up to 30 gallons), and up to four people. Surfboards included

• Charter groups of four=$200 per person (includes tax)
• Charter groups of three=$270 per person (includes tax)
• Charter groups of two=$400 per person (includes tax)
• Charter groups of one=$800 (includes tax)

IMPORTANT: Every member of your group is required to submit a booking form, complete the waiver through e-signature and one member of your group must submit a $250 deposit. No exceptions.

Each participant in a Tanker Surf Charter is required to complete and submit the booking page form. In addition, once a charter is booked, each participant will be required to read and acknowledge (through e-signature) that they’ve understood the liability waiver. After the booking form is submitted and waiver form is signed, one member of the charter group will be required to pay the $250.00 deposit (payable via PayPal) to reserve the date specified by Tanker Surf Charters. All booking dates are on a first come, first serve basis and only the $250.00 deposit can be a guarantee to hold that particular date. It is completely at Tanker Surf Charters discretion to determine the date that will give each participant the best opportunity to catch tanker waves. In addition to submitting the e-signature on the waiver page of this Web site, each charter participant will be required to give Tanker Surf Charters a printed hard copy of the signed form before entry into the boat. You can download and print the waiver here.

NOTE: You must be 17 or older to participate in a Tanker Surf Charter.

One member of your group charter is required to submit a $250.00 deposit once you receive a date confirmation from Capt Fulbright, in order to lock in your charter date and your place on the vessel. The balance of the charter will be payable in cash the morning of departure. Tanker Surf Charters does not accept checks, credit cards or debit cards for the outstanding balance.

One final note: Tanker Surf Charters reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Before you book your charter, a few things you should know …

Capt. Fulbright offers tanker charters 5 days a week (Monday thru Friday) June thru October. Note: We never go out on weekends–no exceptions.

Tanker charters are available for 1-4 people per charter. Note: 1 person charters can be paired with another individual to defer costs, if requested and available. You must meet the following criteria to be placed on the Standby List:

You are inquiring as an individual and are not part of a group.

You have enough flexibility in your schedule that enables you to take off, given 24 hours notice.

You have consistent weekdays off and/or specific weekday availability.

You have already filled out a booking form, e-signed the liability waiver and submitted a $250.00 deposit.

The benefits of being a standby passenger include:

• You are not responsible of getting your own group together.
• You will never have to pay more than your $250.00 deposit.
• You are not required to lock into a specific date or 3 day window.

Full day charters are offered. Note: Full-day charters average 6 hours.

Charter fees will include surfboards, ice, light snacks, fuel (up to 30 gallons) and water. Note: it is the client’s sole responsibility to provide their food and snacks for the charter.

Note: We are requiring each group to submit a window of up to 3 days’ flexibility on expeditions. Each charter is allowed to reserve a Monday-Wednesday three-day in succession window or a Wednesday-Friday three-day in succession window. Please indicate your three-day choices in the form below. Your choices must fall on the Monday-Wednesday schedule or the Wednesday-Friday schedule.

A $250.00 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. Note: a minimum of a 24 hour notice is required by the client (s) to re-schedule or the deposit and charter is forfeited.

The decision to initiate (launch) or continue the charter is strictly at the Captain’s discretion and his decision alone. Note: this decision is based on the water conditions, weather and the safety of the passengers, the vessel and it’s Captain.

You must be in good physical condition and have intermediate or advanced longboard surfing skills before booking a tanker surf charter. Note: a tanker surf charter is physically demanding and challenging and not for the beginner!

You must agree to and abide by all rules of the tanker surf charter. Note: Passengers are not allowed to bring any illegal drugs or alcohol on board the vessel. No GPS devices or bananas are allowed on board the vessel!

Our Captain and crew (if applicable) work very hard before, during and after our tanker surf charters to provide our clients with the best possible experience. A 10 – 15% gratuity is customary in this industry and greatly appreciated.
